Macau Border Gate Terminal was closed down after the attack of Typhoon Hato. The SAR modified the original renovation plans into two phases for complete recovery, and the project was initially estimated to be finished in two years. Fortunately, the site is back in service earlier than estimate with the cooperative effort by the SAR and contractors.

Under a critical downtime, OPTIMIX in this project provides cementitious materials working with the construction team’s request of nighttime and holiday work, speeding up the recovery to allow the terminal to be re-opened at the end of November, 2018.
